The ‘Work Breakdown Structure’ of our home

To calculate the estimated cost of building our sustainable small home, I first had to figure out all the elements required in its construction. A ‘Work Breakdown Structure’ is the term we applied to this process when I was designing structures for airplanes – I’m not sure if it’s the term architects use.  Searching for information that would allow me to do a ‘Work Breakdown Structure’ I found the QV cost builder website and a document named “Elemental Analysis of Costs of Building Projects”. I also spent a lot of time googling examples to create the following list of cost elements for our home. Hopefully this covers everything.
